BUSINESS HISTORIES

Whether you manage a pub, a family-run shop or a multi-million pound enterprise, you should let your customers know about the origins of your business and how you have made it to where you are today. Support is as strong as ever for local companies that have been long established, so now is the time to build on your company's heritage and strengthen its future.
Laura researches company histories using a wide range of archive sources to discover not only who founded it and who has worked there over the years, but also how the premises used to look and how the products have changed. Her biographical research into a group of Victorian men who founded the Royal London Life Insurance and Benefit Society was incorporated in Murray Ross's publication Royal London: The First 150 Years.
Laura searches for old advertisements, photographs, trade directories, accounts and plans, and can present your company's history in a variety of ways. Potted histories can be designed to be hung on the wall, printed in a brochure or leaflet, published on the company website, or produced in a limited edition book. Laura's colleague James Higgins also creates broadcast-quality corporate films. James is a self-shooting Producer Director with experience working on primetime factual television series.
